It was a tough series, but Selanne came through again, tonight. I'm sure a lot of Flames fans will say Calgary lost the series as opposed to Anaheim winning it, but the Ducks played like a team that expects to be in the Finals come June.

It's a win-win situation for me next round. Either Colorado gets to the Conference Finals or Anaheim does. I'm more concerned with the other semi-finals match-up: San Jose v. Edmonton. I'd like Edmonton to win, but only because I don't like the Sharks whatsoever.

In the East, I'm hoping for either Buffalo or Carolina, because I'd hate for Brodeur or Hasek (whenever he returns) to be anywhere near the Finals.

Let's go Ducks!

Game of the year, given its importance to the team and how well we stepped up. Selanne and Niedermayer were red hot, Selanne especially, and I have a feeling of optimism going into Game 7. It was a good run, if it ends Wednesday, and I was glad to have caught a lot of the games.

Oh, and they better pay Selanne a little better next year.

I thought we had it tied at the very end, but it was not to be. I have complete confidence we will pull off the upset, still. I think. I hope. I pray.

Suck it, Calgary!

Well, that was dramatic for the minute-and-a-half it lasted. I was hoping we'd take both games at the Pond, but it looks like we're going to have to win another one in the Saddledome now. Might as well be Game 5, right?

Good for the Red Wings, winning and all. It'd be more pleasurable watching Colorado beat them anyway.

We won home-ice advantage and lost it two nights later. Isn't that a bitch? We more or less have to win the next game or we're fucked. It's sad, but I look at Detroit, a team in the same situation, and say 'If they can do it (which they will), why can't the Ducks?'.
